MSTR and NVDA continue their moves into overnight trading. If this continues into the pre-market, it could be a big day (and maybe a great week) for followers. And I spotted a new trend reversal!

I usually post when the move is happening, right?

So, it’s unnecessary to buy as much time on the options as I’m buying. I buy as much time as I think a move can run in an ideal swing trade scenario, but I also use a stop loss.

Maybe 30% of the time the play runs to expiration and then some.

What’s This Mean for MSTR? (For Example)

Last week I said take a look at the $335 Calls on MSTR back when it was $285 and on the day of the big breakout I tried to wake you up in morning as contracts were dirt cheap and expiring.

Since the move is happening when I post, you could have bought the $335 Calls that were expiring 1/3. Those had 0 days until expiration, and contracts always will when I post on Fridays. Also, options are super cheap on Thursday and that’s the cheapest opportunity for a 1-day swing trade. These two little tips are extremely helpful for budget trading, and extra risky until you practice, but I hope you put them to good use in the near future.
